I am an avid fan of Tim Belknap. Remembering when he was first published in a Weider rag, so young so awesome!
I was still in college or out of, cann't remember. Some summer? 83-85 not sure.
I've seen some guest posers including Tom Platz, though no-one equaled Tim.
I had this conversation with Rick King, owner of Eagle Gym and one of the greatest gyms in Saint Louis or all Missouri. Rick has drawn many of the greatest for guest pose, seen more than me, he also was a great bodybuilder himself and powerlifter.
What he saw I did too. You expect a tan to make a bodybuilder stand out-NO!
Tim guest posed at this aforementioned contest in Saint Louis. I cann't believe what I saw. Tim was snow white and hard as a diamond, I've never seen so much muscle on a human, he was an alien from planetX and beyond. In all honesty, Tim was freaky huge and scary. that snow white skin, for some reason looked great on Tim.
Rick mentioned that he actually scarred people in the audience with his development.
You see some guy guest pose out of shape, not Tim. I'm glad he is 17 though I would rank him in the top 5 in history. For me, the drugs available for current bodybuilders has progressed to the point that I do not follow the sport or care if RC or anyone else is Mr. Olympia. They are cartoons now. No offence to anyone. I respect everyones opinions!! You can disagree and that is your right.
Thank you, and I'm glad he is alive. I amongst some others thought that he died around two years ago. Last night I searched and searched and was told on many a forum that he is alive and well.
Tim take care, you were the best!
Thank you.
many-spelling errors here!

Tim Belknap here again. I havent seen you guys since July in here. Thanks for all the nice things you said in here about me. I have a 8 year old son who is the pride and love of my life. If he ever even thinks about this sport in the way of competing I will have to kick his hiney! He has my exact same body I had when I was his age. Thank God he is into basketball. He wants to be another Kobe. Brooks is only 5 foot 6 inches. I guess if he hits the sport like I did in bodybuilding he could actually make it.
God Bless,

Tim

Are you kidding? You were phenomenal! I remember when I first found out about you. You were absolutely the best young bodybuilder I had ever seen. And your transformation from off-season to contest shape was simply astounding.

Growth hormone -- it's a curse, in my opinion. Guys don't appreciate how hard it is to get big and ripped like you were. Thanks a million for stopping by!
