		<description>So why do you get a latic acid rush then if it is fuel for the muscle , surely it shouldnt impede performance if it was fuel for the cells ?&#160;</description>

However, I am pretty sure that lactic acid plays a part, even if the evidence shows otherwise (http://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/delayed-onset-muscle-soreness.html).

For example, the research shows that eccentric contractions give the most DOMS whereas concentric is claimed (by some) to deliver ZERO soreness. That&#039;s BS. I&#039;ve trained a lot of different ways and I can tell you that I can make myself sore in all of them!

I do lend a lot of credence to the idea that it&#039;s MOSTLY caused by the tearing/damage to the muscle.</description>

		<description>Wow that is the first time I read that lactic acid is actually good for you.&#160; That is pretty interesting cause like you said it is crazy all the stuff we believe until it is proven differently.&#160; So is lactic acid still the reason for muscle soreness then or is that wrong too?</description>
