<p>However, who&#39;s to say that the latest diet pill wasn&#39;t made in somebody&#39;s bathtub?</p>
<p>This is NOT my condemnation of the supplement industry. Rather, it&#39;s simply a peek into how some of the unscrupulous companies operate. If you stick with name brand &quot;basic&quot; supplements like protein powders, creatine, amino acids, and vitamins and minerals, you&#39;re going to get what you pay for.</p>
<p>Beware the &quot;proprietary blend.&quot; It might just be crap.</p>
